Over the summer I have been working closely with my staff to develop a website that will connect me to the Canadians that I so proudly represent in the Senate of Canada. With great patience my team has opened my eyes to the power of social media and have taught me the importance of utilizing these tools so that I can effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to audiences all over the world.
Since my appointment in 2001 I have worked closely on several issues, many of which have been featured on my new site. It is my hope that my new website acts as an outlet where I can share with Canadians the work I am doing both in Canada and abroad. It is also my desire that this website act as a medium where individuals can express their thoughts, opinions and concerns about the issues that I am working on as well as the issues that are important to them. It is my belief that by working together we can create a better Canada.
